Meet our working girls, and we have about 225 of them. It doesn’t matter whether they are purebred Simmental, SimAngus or purebred Angus – if they live here, they ALL must toe the line!

Our females are expected to:

1. Breed before 18 months of age as heifers
2. Calve every 12-13 months
3. Be a good mother
4. Wean a stout, healthy calf every year
5. Live off the land and maintain body condition
6. Have a good udder as well as sound feet and legs
7. Be easy on the eye
8. Have longevity in the cowherd

Our uncompromised standards and strict culling program have produced practical females backed by a strong A.I. and herd bull battery that can WORK in a variety of breeding programs.
